Dental inlays and onlays are an alternative to fillings, replacing parts of the tooth that have become damaged. They are stronger and can last longer than fillings, and are usually added to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth.

They are generally made from of gold, resin or porcelain.

Where and how are they attached?

Inlays and Onlays target the back teeth, proving extra support for molars that have become damaged. They are fitted within the corners of the natural tooth or bonded over the tooth corners.
